Dan Haffner - President
Dan is the son-in-law of John Philipose, founder of India Christian Bible College in Kerala, India. He is a graduate of Central State University in Oklahoma where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration. Dan worked in the banking sector for over 30 years where his final position was Senior Vice President of Operations for a banking software company. During his career, he sat on the committee which completed the first Image Check Exhange in the United States. He later served on the national committee tasked with writing the rules and regulations for national image exchange, which were adopted by the Federal Reserve Bank.
In 2017, he and his wife Laly, started a new company, DaLa Properties, and began property investment and renovation.
In February 2022, John Philipose, after a lifetime of serving God on the mission field, passed away from cancer. It was his wish, and God’s leading, that Laly and Dan take over the ministry.
Dan has a passion for missions and a love for the people of India. With God’s direction, he and Laly will usher in the next generation of missions work in India.
Gary Finn - Treasurer
Gary worked as a professional geotechnical consultant for most of his career and retired in 2018. He and his wife Lee Ann have been members of Cherokee Hills Christian Church since 1995. During this time he has served on the Missions Ministry Team at CHCC for over 20 years, and as an Elder for 16+ years.
His concern for missions has lead him to visit ministries working in Bolivia, Peru, Haiti and India. Gary believes all Christians have a responsibility to support missionaries and ministries through their prayers, tithes, offerings and personal involvement.
Norma Hull - Secretary

Todd Lafferty
Todd Lafferty is Co-CEO of Wheeler Brothers Grain Company, a fourth-generation family business started in 1917 by his great grandfather and great granduncle. He graduated with a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University in 1989, then receive his JD from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1992. He practiced law in Amarillo, Texas for 11 years before joining the family business in Watonga, Oklahoma. He serves as an Elder at the Watonga Christian Church, where he is also the Missions Chairman. His past experience includes being on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the National Grain & Feed Association (NGFA) as well as serving as an NGFA Arbitrator. He is past recipient of the Watonga Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year as well as Kiwanian of the Year. Todd and his wife, Allison, have two adult sons, Brennan and Jack.
John Miller
John Miller first met John Philipose (Founder of India Christian Bible College) in 1984 when he came to First Christian Church in Canadian, Texas, where John Miller was pastor, to present his dream of building a Bible College in India to train young men for ministry. Canadian began supporting ICBC at that time and has faithfully continued support to this day.
In 2001, John Miller was preaching at Christ's Church of Yukon, Oklahoma, when John Philipose came and challenged them to build a church building in Vypeen, India. They accepted the challenge and that began a string of 15 churches in 15 years in third world countries, four of which were built in India under John Philipose's leadership. CCY has just accepted the challenge to raise the monies necessary in 2023 to build a church in Punjab, India. God is good!!
John Miller and his wife Kathy have had the privilege of serving in full time ministry for over 30 of the more than 50 years that they've been married.
They were in Youth Ministry for 5 years in Missouri, then 12 years preaching in Texas before coming to Oklahoma for the final 15 years of their ministry. Since retiring from ministry, John has worked in the construction industry where he's built a dozen new homes, flipped about 40 houses and roofed 2,000 houses. He is ready to move into retirement in Oklahoma and glad to be able to serve on the board of directors for India Christian Ministries.
Rebekah Joseph
Rebekah is the granddaughter of John Philipose She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Psychology and The University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Nursing. Rebekah has a heart for helping people which aligns with the central vision of India Christian Ministries.
As someone who has been to India 4 times and spent a semester teaching an English class, Rebekah is well acquainted with the needs of the Bible College and students. She offers a unique perspective driven by a desire to please God and serve His people.
Terry Hull - Ministry Advisor
Terry Hull was unanimously selected by the Board of Directors to become the Ministry Advisor for India Christian Ministries and India Christian Bible College. His duties include advising the faculty and students of ICBC regarding their doctrines, curricula, and academic-related needs, as well as communicating with pastors, leaders, and members of Indian churches regarding their doctrines, ministries, leadership training, discipleship training, continuing education, and ministry-related needs. As God directs, Terry and his wife Norma will lead occasional short-term mission trips to India to provide encouragement to their brothers and sisters in India and to strengthen the ties of ICM’s North
American supporters to the work in India. He will also provide consultation to Dan and Laly Haffner regarding ICM’s communications and fundraising.
